What this repair can—and cannot—fix
Safe, measurable cleanup
It welds near-identical STL vertices, removes zero-area faces, and makes neighboring triangle winding consistent where manifold adjacency allows. For closed shells with a measurable signed volume it also orients faces outward.
Honest limits
It does not fill holes, resolve self-intersections, or guarantee printability. Remaining open and non-manifold edges are reported. Review the output in your slicer before printing.
Processing runs locally in a Web Worker. No file upload or external repair application is used. The original file is never overwritten.
